Main areas of scientific research are combustion behavior of fossil fuels in fixed, fluidized, and pulverized modes; computational fluid dynamic modeling of combustion systems for emission reduction; advanced power generation methods; oxy-fuel combustion; slagging and fouling in gasification; coal and biomass co gasification, energy conservation methods.
