| The Center for Quantitative X-Ray Imaging (CQI) at Penn State University is a multi-user research facility that supports researchers at Penn State as well in the broader national and international academic community. The Center emphasizes quantitative interpretation of the image data itself in terms of density, porosity, and fractional composition. Further, the system is designed for 4-D studies, monitoring internal changes with fluid displacement or changed environmental conditions.
